MyCUInfo is an application for University of Colorado Boulder Students, providing the ability to view and export class schedules, account holds, financial aid, faculty information, and grades.

Using the app, students can manage their checklists and class schedules, respond to academic notifications, and view their coursework progress. The interface is simple to learn and immediately usable by any logged in student, allowing users to get an extensive overview of every piece of data related to their education. MyCUInfo is sourced by developers on site at the University, meaning that anyone who has issues can easily lodge in-person complaints with the staff or get immediate answers for questions.

The app includes a Tasks module which allows students to program or customize their own academic tasks and edit financial aid information. The benefit of this app is that users can get information optimized for the Colorado Boulder experience, in contrast to more general apps like Canvas used at a broader number of educational institutions.

However, there are a number of persistent drawbacks to the app as opposed to more general course editors, productivity apps, and online portals for viewing course and grade information. The app only works with iOS 9.0 or later, meaning that Android users don't receive any access to MyCUInfo. Some users have persistent issues getting the app to work, citing that they can't find the home page, updates have caused the app to crash or lag, and the interface is very slow to load. Most annoyingly, users have to log in every time that they close out of the app. Currently, developers are working to update the session information so that log ins are more persistent.

Overall, MyCUInfo offers a convenient to use, all in one location for all information relating to a students' information. Apps like MyCUInfo are becoming increasingly popular for students wanting transparent access to course information, financial aid, and assigned tasks from professors.
